3. Medical Transcription

This is another source of income for several women who stay at home.  There is more potential in this career than you might think.  Medical transcription involves listening to doctors dictate a patient’s visit for treatment while using medical terminology.  All you have to do is type what they say.  You do have to be certified to become a medical transcriptionist, but it is well worth it.  The courses at best last 18 months.  You can also receive financial aid when opting to take a medical transcription course.  Most women start off making only $7.00 an hour, but there are people out there who are making up to $35.00 an hour within a few years of experience.

4. Set up your own daycare.

If you love children, then you might want to consider starting your own daycare.  If you charge what most daycares charge, you are going to be making a fortune!  It might not be wise to charge the same amount, because most people are trying to find lower rates.  You might be able to get better business if you drop your rates down about ten dollars or so.  The more kids you keep, the more money you are going to make.  A good income might come from keeping about five children a week.

Put attractive items by the roadside. For clothes, put up a bar where you can hang them with hangers.

•   Be prepared with a lot of change for your sale. Not only change but a wrapper to help buyers wrap the items they bought. This way, you won’t be hassled all the time because of lack change or wrapper when buyers ask.

•   Expect buyers to haggle prices with you so be firm and prepared.
